War on Bugs and Doomed Outpost

It’s been a few very busy weeks for everyone at the office and judging by the “to do list”, it doesn’t look like we will be catching a break any time soon. Our “War on Bugs” campaign is continuing and it looks like our team is finally getting the upper hand in this uphill battle. While most of our guys are busy pushing back the onslaught of various digital insects a small detachment is preparing a counteroffensive for when the tide of battle finally turns.

Devblog #14 - Shooting hoops in space

As we’ve mentioned, before we introduce the “story element”, we believe it is necessary to introduce a few more features to the game. Some may argue that most of these are just cosmetic, but even cosmetic items have the potential to tell a story if placed correctly. One such item, coming up in 0.2.0, is the ability to throw some hoops in space. Yup, time for some space jam!

Devblog#10 - Hellion receives its first patch

As promised, we are focused on our community feedback. Between collecting player feedback, sorting out numerous bug reports and other launch issues, it is safe to say that none of us had much sleep last night. Patch 0.1.3 fixes many of the issues that were reported over the past several days and especially those reported in the last 24 hours. Without extensive feedback it would have taken us a lot longer to track down and isolate the cause of many of these problems. This is exactly the communication that we’ve wanted.

Launch Time, Pricing and More

It’s almost time colonists!

Hellion will be going live on Friday, February 24th. We’ve also done some calculations on your behalf to account for different time zones. Exact release time will be: 10:00AM PST, 01:00 PM ET and 06:00PM UK. In addition Hellion’s Early Access price has been set at 24.99$.

There are also some other things we want to mention, so stick around the blog a bit longer, we promise it will be worth it.
