Reboot Develop 2016 Recap

It has been almost a month since we came back from Reboot Develop 2016. Time sure flies when you are having fun, especially in space. Are we dreaming in our cryo-sleep? Have our clocks gone mad? Or is this occurrence relativistic in nature? Anyways…


Reboot Develop was an amazing experience! High-end developer conference at the exclusive location in a beautiful historical city of Split on the Croatian coast in Europe. It gathered some of the biggest names in gaming industry such as: Tim Schafer, John Romero, Brian Fargo and many others. And we - Zero Gravity - took the opportunity to showcase the game we are working on – our dear Hellion.


We had prepared the announcement trailer and the pre-alpha build that many of the attendees were able to put their hands on and show off their piloting skills, EVA aptitude and even demonstrate some shooting in close quarters combat. It was a great experience for us because it was the first time we had the chance to learn how people perceive our game. And it was awesome! We learned a lot from it. Every comment we got was written down and later discussed, every appraisal we got was like an enormous boost. Now we know we are on the right path and we intend to stay that way.
